Dubai Financial Market-listed Taaleem Holdings has proposed a cash dividend of AED 120 million for the financial year ended August 31, 2026, subject to shareholder approval at its upcoming Annual General Meeting (AGM).
According to the company’s official AGM invitation, the proposed distribution amounts to AED 0.12 per share, equivalent to 12 fils per share and representing 12% of Taaleem’s paid-up share capital.
The education provider has scheduled its Annual General Meeting for Tuesday, November 10, 2026, at 4:00 PM, with shareholders able to participate physically at Dubai British School in Jumeira, Dubai, or remotely through electronic attendance and voting.
During the meeting, shareholders will consider and vote on the Board of Directors’ recommendation to distribute the AED 120 million cash dividend.
If approved, shareholders registered as holding Taaleem shares on November 20, 2026, will be entitled to receive the dividend.
The company also confirmed that shareholders registered on November 9, 2026, will be eligible to attend and vote at the AGM.
In addition to the proposed dividend, shareholders will review and approve the company’s financial statements, Board report and auditor’s report for the financial year ended August 31, 2026.
The AGM agenda also includes a proposal to approve AED 5.25 million in total Board remuneration for the financial year, alongside the appointment of external auditors for the year ending August 31, 2027.
Shareholders will also consider resolutions relating to the discharge of the company’s directors and external auditors from liability for the completed financial year.
Taaleem stated that electronic registration for the AGM will open on October 30, 2026, at 5:00 PM and close on November 10, 2026.
If the required shareholder quorum is not achieved at the first meeting, a second AGM will be held on November 17, 2026, at the same time and location.
In that scenario, the dividend entitlement record date would shift to November 27, 2026.
The proposed AED 120 million distribution remains subject to shareholder approval, and the AGM invitation does not specify a dividend payment date.
