Presight, the Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange-listed artificial intelligence and data analytics company, is targeting international markets to contribute 50% of its total revenue by 2030 as it accelerates its global expansion strategy.
According to CEO Thomas Pramotedham, overseas operations currently account for approximately one-third of the company’s revenue, with Presight expanding its presence across Central Asia, the Balkans and Africa.
The G42-backed company currently operates across 14 markets, delivering artificial intelligence and data-driven solutions to governments and enterprise customers.
Its international projects span smart-city infrastructure, utility management, advanced analytics and AI supercomputing systems.
Kazakhstan has emerged as one of Presight’s most significant international markets, with the company employing more than 60 people in the country.
Presight has also established partnerships in South Korea to connect technology companies with commercial opportunities across its international network.
Alongside its international expansion, Presight is strengthening its role within Abu Dhabi’s artificial intelligence ecosystem through FutureSight, an accelerator platform designed to connect emerging AI companies with major corporations, government institutions and potential investors.
The company recently introduced 12 international technology scale-ups selected for FutureSight’s second cohort from 376 applicants across 62 countries.
The selected companies include Germany’s Airmo, which uses satellite technology to monitor methane emissions, and South Korea’s Aitrics, which develops AI solutions to predict patient deterioration in hospitals.
Through the programme, participating companies gain access to senior executives and decision-makers from major UAE institutions, including ADNOC and the Central Bank of the UAE.
Presight reported that the previous FutureSight cohort generated more than 70 commercial and strategic opportunities.
The company has also supported emerging technology businesses through investments, including a USD 1 million investment in NodeShift through its USD 100 million investment fund established with Shorooq Partners.
More recently, Presight and Shorooq invested in California-based Maven Robotics, which develops autonomous robotic systems for logistics and manufacturing.
International investor interest in Presight has also strengthened, with US institutions now accounting for approximately 30% of its institutional investor shareholder base.
The company is currently covered by 10 financial analysts, including representatives from JPMorgan, Citigroup and UBS.
Presight’s ambition to generate half its revenue internationally by 2030 reflects its strategy of exporting AI capabilities developed in Abu Dhabi while expanding its presence in global technology markets.
