Parkin has introduced its barrierless, ticketless parking system at City Walk, enabling motorists to enter and exit without stopping at parking barriers or collecting paper tickets. The new system uses automatic number plate recognition (ANPR) technology to create a seamless parking experience.
Parking charges are automatically processed through the customer’s Parkin account. If a vehicle is not linked to a Parkin account or has insufficient balance, the registered owner will receive an SMS containing a secure payment link.
Key highlights:
• Barrierless and ticketless parking now available at City Walk
• Automatic number plate recognition (ANPR) technology replaces parking barriers and paper tickets
• Parking fees automatically deducted through Parkin accounts
• SMS payment link sent if no Parkin account is linked or balance is insufficient
• Designed to improve traffic flow and enhance customer convenience
Parking validation:
• Visitors receive one hour of complimentary parking at City Walk
• Additional parking is charged at AED 5 per hour
• Selected retailers and restaurants offer additional parking validation benefits, subject to their individual terms and conditions
According to Parkin, the new system eliminates queues at entry and exit points while providing a faster and more convenient parking experience for visitors.
