Parkin Company has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Bahrain Car Parks Company (Amakin) to explore collaboration across parking technologies, digital mobility services and regional business development.
The partnership brings together Parkin’s technology and operational capabilities with Amakin’s experience in Bahrain to explore smarter parking and mobility services, improve operational efficiency and enhance the customer experience across the GCC.
Under the MoU, the companies will evaluate integrating their digital platforms to streamline operations and provide customers with a more seamless parking experience. They will also explore enabling customers to access and pay for parking across both networks through their respective mobile apps, potentially creating a more connected parking experience between the UAE and Bahrain.
Parkin and Amakin will also explore the use of mobility data to identify trends and develop new data-driven parking solutions across both markets. Beyond technology integration, the agreement provides a framework for the companies to pursue joint business opportunities across the GCC and selected international markets.
Parkin CEO Mohamed Abdulla Al Ali said the partnership represents a significant milestone in expanding the company’s smart parking capabilities beyond Dubai, combining the companies’ technologies and digital platforms while creating future growth opportunities across the GCC and beyond.
Amakin CEO Tariq Ali Aljowder said the collaboration will explore practical digital solutions designed to make parking simpler and more convenient in Bahrain, including faster payment options and more accurate information on parking space availability.
Parkin is Dubai’s largest provider of paid public parking facilities and services, with approximately 229,000 paid parking spaces as of the end of 2025. Amakin is a Bahrain-listed parking and mobility solutions provider that owns, operates and manages more than 15 locations across the Kingdom.
