National International Holding Company has received approval from Kuwait’s Capital Markets Authority (CMA) to renew its right to purchase or sell treasury shares representing up to 10% of the company’s total share capital.
The renewed approval is valid for a period of six months starting from 23 August 2026 and remains subject to the availability of sufficient financial resources and applicable regulatory requirements.
Under the approval, National International Holding may use its treasury shares for several purposes, including buying and selling shares to support share price stability, reducing the company’s paid-up capital, distributing treasury shares to shareholders without increasing capital or the number of issued shares, and lending or borrowing shares for market-making purposes.
The company noted that any treasury share transactions must remain within the permitted ownership limits and that the value of purchases must not exceed the available sources of financing.
National International Holding stated that the renewal of the approval has no impact on its financial position.
The disclosure was submitted to the Dubai Financial Market on 24 August 2026 following the CMA’s approval dated 23 August 2026.
