Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange-listed Ghitha Holding, a subsidiary of 2PointZero Group, reported revenue of AED 5.1 billion for the first nine months of 2026, representing a 27% year-on-year increase. The growth reflects continued expansion across the group’s diversified agriculture, food production, trading and distribution businesses.
Gross profit increased 9% to AED 962.2 million, compared with AED 880.1 million in the corresponding period of 2025. Despite the increase in gross profit, the slower growth relative to revenue indicates pressure on gross profit margins as the group’s business activities expanded.
For the third quarter of 2026, revenue reached AED 1.7 billion, up 23% year-on-year. Quarterly gross profit increased approximately 5.5% to AED 296 million from AED 280.7 million, reflecting a higher revenue base and continued activity across Ghitha’s food and agriculture operations.
During the quarter, Ghitha signed a strategic Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Amazon to explore a seasonal fresh produce initiative connecting UAE farms more directly with consumers. The collaboration aims to use Ghitha’s agricultural infrastructure alongside Amazon’s customer demand insights to support crop selection and the delivery of locally grown produce through Amazon Now.
The partnership also includes plans to explore the development of a packhouse and distribution centre at Food Tech Valley in Dubai, while expanding the availability of Ghitha’s local brands on Amazon Now. Products from subsidiaries including Al Ain Farms, Marmum Dairy Farm, Arabian Farms, Al Jazira Poultry Farm and NRTC are already available through the platform.
Ghitha also continued progressing other strategic initiatives, including NRTC’s acquisition of Taaza and the agreement between Al Ain Farms Group and NRTC Group to establish Al Ain Taaza, an integrated fresh juice platform. These developments support the group’s strategy to strengthen its capabilities across fresh produce sourcing, food processing and distribution.
Chief Executive Officer Falal Ameen highlighted the group’s focus on integrating its businesses, expanding operational capabilities and supporting the UAE’s food security objectives. Looking ahead, Ghitha plans to prioritise the performance of its existing operations while evaluating opportunities that complement its food and agriculture portfolio.
The announcement did not provide nine-month net profit, EBITDA or earnings-per-share figures. Ghitha’s reported results highlight strong revenue expansion, while its strategic initiatives focus on strengthening the group’s position across the UAE’s food supply chain.
