🏙️ Dubai Holding Becomes Largest Shareholder in Emaar Properties Following Stake Transfer
Emaar Properties announced that Investment Corporation of Dubai (ICD) has transferred its entire shareholding in Emaar Properties to Emirates Power Investment LLC, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Dubai Holding.
The transaction was completed on 11 May 2026 through Dubai Central Securities Depository LLC and resulted in a change exceeding 10% in Emaar’s ownership structure.
Following completion of the transfer:
• Emirates Power Investment LLC now owns 22.2723% of Emaar Properties
• Investment Corporation of Dubai no longer holds shares in Emaar Properties
• Dubai Holding Group’s total stake in Emaar Properties has increased to approximately 29.73%
Emaar stated that Dubai Holding will become its largest shareholder and continue as a long-term investor in the company.
The company added that the transaction further strengthens the strategic partnership between Emaar Properties and Dubai Holding, building on an existing relationship supported by collaborations across joint ventures and other initiatives.
