Burjeel Holdings Unifies Three Healthcare Brands, Plans 75-Bed Hospital and 10+ New Clinics Across UAE

Burjeel Holdings Unifies Three Healthcare Brands, Plans 75-Bed Hospital and 10+ New Clinics Across UAE

Burjeel Holdings has announced the establishment of a dedicated affordable healthcare division, bringing together its LLH, Lifecare and Medeor brands under a unified leadership structure to accelerate growth across the UAE.

The Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange-listed healthcare group has appointed Dr. Narendra D Sonigra as Chief Executive Officer of the new platform, which will focus on affordable healthcare and industrial health services.

The initiative forms part of Burjeel 2.0, the group’s transformation programme aimed at improving operational efficiency, asset utilisation and financial performance.

The newly unified platform comprises six hospitals across Abu Dhabi and Dubai, alongside 24 medical centres and clinics, with a combined capacity exceeding 500 beds.

The facilities employ more than 2,400 healthcare professionals and recorded over 2.3 million outpatient visits and more than 61,000 hospital admissions during 2025.

Together, LLH, Lifecare and Medeor contributed 22.5% of Burjeel Holdings’ total revenue in FY2025 and 22.7% in H1 2026, representing more than one-fifth of the group’s revenue.

As part of its expansion strategy, Burjeel Holdings plans to establish a new 75-bed LLH Hospital in Jebel Ali, Dubai, targeting industrial workers and surrounding communities.

The planned hospital will provide emergency, occupational, primary and multispecialty healthcare services, supported by referrals to Burjeel’s advanced-care network.

In addition, the group plans to open more than 10 new clinics across the UAE, expanding healthcare access in residential communities and major employment centres.

Each brand will retain its existing identity and target market. LLH will focus on accessible community healthcare, Lifecare will serve industrial workforces and nearby communities, while Medeor will continue serving middle-income expatriates and families.

The unified operating model is expected to improve procurement, workforce planning, patient referrals and service development while maintaining consistent clinical standards across the platform.

Dr. Shamsheer Vayalil, Chairman and CEO of Burjeel Holdings, said the integration would provide a clearer framework for developing the affordable healthcare business and using resources more efficiently.

The expansion supports Burjeel Holdings’ broader strategy of increasing healthcare accessibility while strengthening operational performance across its regional network.
