Aldar Properties has generated more than AED 5 billion in sales from the launches of Talay and Yas Riva Reserve, highlighting continued demand for residential property across two of Abu Dhabi’s major waterfront destinations.
The sales were generated in the week leading up to LIVEX Abu Dhabi 2026, with demand coming from both UAE-based and international buyers.
Aldar said 54% of buyers were first-time customers, while UAE nationals accounted for 31% of buyers. Expatriate residents and overseas buyers represented the remaining 69% of sales.
Buyers from the UAE, UK, Russia, Jordan and India were among the leading nationalities by sales volume. Around 55% of all buyers were under the age of 45, while female buyers represented 30% of sales.
Talay is the first residential community within Marsa Al Saadiyat, Aldar’s AED 100 billion waterfront destination on Saadiyat Island, which is planned to eventually accommodate more than 58,000 residents.
Yas Riva Reserve, meanwhile, is a new gated waterfront community northeast of Yas Island, with a new bridge planned to provide an additional connection to the island.
The more than AED 5 billion in combined sales adds to Aldar’s development sales momentum and reflects continued demand from local, expatriate and international buyers in Abu Dhabi’s residential real estate market.
