Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange has launched an updated and expanded Investor Relations Guide, providing ADX-listed companies with a practical framework to strengthen communication with investors and build long-term market trust.
The guide aims to move investor relations beyond basic disclosure requirements towards more strategic engagement between listed companies and investors.
ADX said clear, consistent and credible communication can help improve market liquidity, support fair share price valuations and attract long-term institutional capital.
The guide applies to all companies listed on the ADX Main Market and Growth Market. It establishes baseline requirements including appointing a dedicated investor relations officer, maintaining an investor relations webpage, publishing investor presentations, making timely material disclosures and delivering periodic and annual reports.
Beyond these requirements, the guide covers 12 practical areas of investor relations, including building an equity story, managing earnings calls, crisis management, ESG reporting, regulatory requirements and preparing companies through the IPO process.
ADX also plans to recognise top-performing issuers each year for meeting mandatory standards and adopting best practices. Companies that fail to meet baseline requirements may face formal warnings or fines.
In addition, ADX is discussing the introduction of a dedicated UAE National Investor Relations Program aimed at developing the next generation of Emirati investor relations professionals.
