The Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange (ADX) has concluded its annual Global Investor Roadshow and Conference in New York, connecting 13 prominent ADX-listed companies with approximately 70 major U.S. institutional investors managing more than USD 35 trillion in assets.
The two-day event, held in collaboration with Morgan Stanley on September 24–25, 2026, aimed to strengthen international investor engagement and showcase investment opportunities across Abu Dhabi’s capital markets.
The participating companies represented major sectors of the UAE economy, including energy, banking, real estate, telecommunications and basic materials.
Nearly 120 individual and group meetings took place during the roadshow, allowing senior executives from ADX-listed companies to present their financial performance, competitive positioning and long-term growth strategies to international institutional investors.
The initiative comes amid increasing foreign participation in Abu Dhabi’s equity market.
According to ADX, overseas investors accounted for 48% of the exchange’s total trading value during the first half of 2026.
International investors also represented 77% of approximately 30,000 newly registered investors during the same period, highlighting growing global participation in the market.
Net foreign investment inflows increased by 13.7% year-on-year to USD 380 million, equivalent to approximately AED 1.4 billion, during H1 2026.
Abdulla Salem Alnuaimi, Group Chief Executive Officer of ADX, highlighted the importance of connecting listed companies directly with global institutional investors to support Abu Dhabi’s economic diversification and capital market development.
He also emphasised the exchange’s ongoing efforts to improve market infrastructure, expand financial products, strengthen digital connectivity and reduce operational barriers for international investors.
The New York roadshow forms part of ADX’s broader strategy to increase international visibility for its listed companies and strengthen Abu Dhabi’s position as a global financial centre.
ADX, the second-largest stock exchange in the Arab region by market capitalisation, continues to expand its market offerings and attract international investment into the UAE’s capital markets.
