ADX and Bloomberg Expand Partnership to Increase Global Access to Abu Dhabi Markets

Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange (ADX) and Bloomberg announced an expansion of their strategic collaboration through the integration of ADX derivatives market data onto the Bloomberg Terminal.

According to the announcement, the move will provide global institutional investors with broader access to Abu Dhabi’s derivatives market and listed companies through Bloomberg’s global financial platform used by more than 350,000 financial professionals worldwide.

The integration includes 11 derivatives contracts, including the FADX15 Index Futures and single stock futures listed on ADX.

The FADX15 Index Futures track the performance of some of the largest and most liquid companies listed on the ADX Main Market.

ADX stated that the integration is aimed at:
• Expanding international investor access
• Increasing market visibility and transparency
• Strengthening liquidity and market-making activity
• Enhancing Abu Dhabi’s position as a globally connected capital market

The announcement was marked by a market-opening bell ceremony at ADX headquarters attended by senior leadership from both Bloomberg and ADX Group.

ADX added that the development forms part of a broader strategic collaboration with Bloomberg, with additional initiatives currently under development.
