Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange-listed NMDC Group announced on 6 November 2026 that it has signed five strategic cooperation agreements and memoranda of understanding during ADIPEC 2026, held from 2 to 5 November at the Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Centre. The agreements cover digital transformation, marine surveying, subsea infrastructure, pipeline technology and international energy supply chains, supporting the group’s expansion across engineering and industrial services.
NMDC Group signed a long-term strategic cooperation framework with the China Chamber of Commerce for the Petroleum Industry (CCCPI). The agreement aims to identify opportunities in bilateral supply chains, fabrication and energy infrastructure development. The collaboration could support NMDC’s access to international industrial capabilities while creating opportunities for cooperation on energy-related projects involving Chinese companies and regional markets.
In the marine sector, NMDC Dredging & Marine entered into a tripartite strategic cooperation arrangement with Teledyne Marine and SITECH Gulf UAE. The partnership focuses on advanced marine survey technology, subsea equipment support and hydrographic innovation. These capabilities are relevant to offshore construction, dredging and marine infrastructure activities, where accurate underwater surveying and specialised equipment contribute to project planning and execution.
NMDC Infra also established a strategic cooperation framework with Tekmar to develop and localise subsea asset protection and stabilisation solutions in the UAE. The agreement focuses on local manufacturing of concrete mattresses and subsea sleepers, alongside technology transfer and capability development. Such products are used to protect and stabilise subsea infrastructure, including pipelines and other offshore installations exposed to seabed conditions.
NMDC Energy signed a strategic memorandum of understanding with e& UAE to explore digital transformation and smart industrial connectivity solutions across its operations. The collaboration is intended to support the deployment of connected technologies within energy and industrial environments, potentially improving operational visibility, coordination and efficiency. The announcement does not specify individual projects, investment commitments or a timetable for implementing the proposed solutions.
In a separate agreement, NMDC Energy partnered with Borouge International to explore the deployment of advanced pipeline coating solutions for major regional energy infrastructure projects. Pipeline coating technologies can support infrastructure protection and durability in demanding operating environments. The partnership creates a framework for technical collaboration, although the company has not announced any confirmed project awards or commercial contract values arising from the agreement.
Throughout ADIPEC 2026, NMDC Group showcased its integrated engineering, procurement and construction capabilities, modular fabrication facilities, expanding marine fleet and autonomous subsea technologies. The group also highlighted its internally developed artificial intelligence solutions designed to support safety, operational efficiency and project delivery. Its operations span NMDC Dredging & Marine, NMDC Energy, NMDC Infra and NMDC LTS, providing services across onshore and offshore infrastructure markets.
NMDC Group Chief Executive Officer Dr. Yasser Zaghloul highlighted the importance of operational resilience, local industrial capabilities and technology adoption as the company marks its 50th year. He emphasised that the partnerships would support the development of critical capabilities within the UAE while strengthening NMDC’s expertise in subsea engineering, surveying and digital technologies. The group continues to position its integrated operating model as a competitive advantage in executing complex regional and international projects.
The five agreements represent strategic cooperation frameworks rather than confirmed revenue-generating project awards. NMDC Group has not disclosed their financial values, expected revenue contributions or potential impact on profitability. Future commercial benefits will depend on the successful implementation of the partnerships and the conversion of identified opportunities into definitive contracts. The agreements nevertheless broaden NMDC’s technological and industrial relationships across the energy and marine infrastructure sectors.
