Taaleem Holdings has announced its financial results for the year ended August 31, 2026, reporting record operating revenue of AED 1.31 billion, an increase of 15.6% year-on-year, supported by higher student enrolment and continued expansion of its premium school portfolio.
Despite the revenue growth, net profit after tax declined 22% year-on-year to AED 127.2 million, primarily due to higher finance costs and depreciation associated with the company’s expansion programme, alongside lower finance and other income.
EBITDA increased 5.2% to AED 334.3 million, while the EBITDA margin declined to 25.5% from 28% in the previous financial year, reflecting higher operating costs as Taaleem continued investing in new schools and expanding its education network.
Taaleem’s Premium Schools segment recorded an 11.1% increase in student enrolment to 18,572 students, compared with 16,712 in the previous year. Total premium school capacity increased 10.5% to 23,848 seats, while utilisation improved to 77.9%.
The company operated 14 premium schools during FY 2025/26, excluding Harrow Dubai, which opened on August 31, 2026. The new school marks Taaleem’s entry into the super-premium education segment, with approximately 400 students registered for its first academic year.
Average gross tuition fees across Premium Schools increased 3.7% year-on-year to AED 61,070, supported by approved fee increases and students progressing into higher year groups.
Within its Government Partnerships segment, student enrolment declined 4.7% to 23,497, reflecting changes in the number of schools operated under government programmes. However, Dubai Schools PPP recorded 35.1% enrolment growth to 4,509 students.
Taaleem’s early childhood education investment, Kids First Group, recorded average enrolment of 4,642 children across 36 nurseries, down 6.6% year-on-year following temporary operational disruptions. Kids First Group contributed a net loss of AED 4.3 million to Taaleem’s consolidated results after purchase price allocation adjustments.
Looking ahead, Taaleem plans to expand its premium and super-premium school portfolio through Harrow Abu Dhabi, scheduled for the 2027/28 academic year, and DBS Ghaf Woods, expected in 2028/29.
The company also expects Kids First Group to add seven nurseries and approximately 1,300 seats by June 2027, supporting further expansion of its early childhood education operations.
Taaleem enters the 2026/27 academic year with approximately 20,000 students enrolled across its premium and super-premium schools, including Harrow Dubai, as it focuses on increasing utilisation at recently opened campuses and improving operational efficiency.
