Parkin has entered into a strategic partnership with Etihad Rail and Q Mobility to develop and operate smart parking solutions across Etihad Rail’s passenger station network.
The first phase will cover passenger stations in Abu Dhabi, Dubai, Al Dhaid and Fujairah. Parkin will operate the vehicle parking facilities at the Dubai station, while Q Mobility will manage parking at the Abu Dhabi, Al Dhaid and Fujairah stations.
The partnership aims to create a more seamless connection between car and train journeys as the UAE’s national passenger rail network develops.
Passengers will have access to secure digital payment options, while the parking system will use digital technologies, artificial intelligence and data to improve traffic flow, operational efficiency and parking capacity.
Parkin said it will deploy its digital solutions at Etihad Rail’s Dubai station to simplify access and payments and improve the parking experience for rail passengers.
The partnership further expands Parkin’s presence beyond traditional public parking as it continues to deploy smart parking technology across major destinations and transport infrastructure in the UAE.
Parkin currently manages approximately 268,000 paid parking spaces in Dubai and recorded 69 million parking transactions during H1 2026.
