Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange has joined the global SWIFT network after activating its SWIFT Business Identifier Code, ADSEAEADXXX.
The new connectivity strengthens ADX’s post-trade infrastructure by enabling secure, standardized and internationally recognized financial messaging with custodians, central securities depositories, international central securities depositories and other market participants worldwide.
ADX said the integration will enable more efficient cross-border interactions and support international investors seeking access to the UAE’s capital markets. It is also expected to improve operational efficiency, interoperability and global market accessibility.
Joining the SWIFT network forms part of ADX’s broader strategy to expand its international reach and deepen engagement with global financial institutions.
The exchange said the development also provides a foundation for future market infrastructure initiatives as it continues strengthening its connectivity with the global financial ecosystem.
