Aldar and Mubadala Investment Company have jointly acquired Masdar City Square for AED 918 million through their real estate joint venture established in 2024.
The acquisition increases the value of the Aldar-Mubadala joint venture’s portfolio in Masdar City to AED 4.7 billion.
Masdar City Square comprises more than 47,000 sqm of net leasable Grade A commercial space across seven office buildings. Completed in Q1 2026, the development is already 99% occupied, with tenants including TAQA, the Department of Energy, Emirates College and Mohamed bin Zayed University of Artificial Intelligence.
