Palms Sports has renewed its contract with the UAE Ministry of Education to implement the School Jiu-Jitsu Program for another three years, in an agreement valued at AED 600.5 million.
The contract, which commenced on September 1, 2026, represents the largest contract by value in Palms Sports’ history.
Under the renewed agreement, Palms Sports will deploy 488 specialised Jiu-Jitsu coaches across 279 schools, providing structured training to nearly 150,000 male and female students across the UAE.
The School Jiu-Jitsu Program is designed to develop students’ physical and technical capabilities while promoting discipline, resilience, self-confidence, respect, commitment and teamwork.
The three-year renewal continues Palms Sports’ longstanding collaboration with the Ministry of Education. The company will work with the Ministry to maintain standards related to training delivery, student safety and technical development across participating schools.
Palms Sports CEO and Managing Director Fouad Darwish said the program goes beyond teaching Jiu-Jitsu by helping develop character, discipline, confidence and resilience among students from an early age.
Palms Sports is a subsidiary of International Holding Company and is one of IHC’s listed companies.
