ADNOC L&S Orders Two Additional LNG Carriers for USD 444 Million

ADNOC Logistics & Services (ADNOC L&S) has ordered two additional next-generation LNG carriers from Jiangnan Shipyard in Shanghai, China, for a total value of USD 444 million.

The company exercised options for the two new vessels, each of which will have a capacity of 175,000 cubic metres. Delivery of both LNG carriers is scheduled for 2029.

The latest order brings ADNOC L&S’ announced vessel acquisitions and newbuild commitments in 2026 to approximately USD 2.7 billion, as the company continues to expand its shipping fleet.

Following the latest investment, ADNOC L&S’ LNG carrier fleet stands at 24 vessels. This includes four legacy vessels, six next-generation LNG carriers delivered since Q4 2024 and another 14 vessels currently under construction.

ADNOC L&S said its strong profitability and cash generation continue to support investment in fleet expansion. Once delivered, the two new LNG carriers are expected to be deployed under long-term charter agreements.

The company operates across Integrated Logistics, Shipping and Services, delivering energy products and solutions to more than 100 customers across over 50 countries.
