Space42 has announced the implementation of a share buyback program covering up to 2.5% of the company’s issued share capital, following approval from the Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange (ADX). The program had previously received shareholder approval at the company’s General Assembly Meeting in April.
The buyback will be funded using Space42’s existing cash resources and executed through open-market transactions in accordance with applicable market regulations. The company said all completed share purchases will be regularly disclosed through ADX in line with market disclosure requirements.
Space42 Managing Director Karim Michel Sabbagh said the program reflects the company’s confidence in its long-term future and its view that the current share price undervalues the intrinsic value of the company. He added that the buyback represents a disciplined deployment of capital and reinforces Space42’s commitment to delivering attractive returns to shareholders.
The announcement follows Space42’s H1 2026 financial results, during which revenue increased 15% to USD 260 million, equivalent to approximately AED 953 million.
Space42 said the buyback forms part of its broader financial framework and commitment to enhancing sustainable shareholder returns.
