Capital Intelligence Ratings has affirmed the credit ratings of The National Bank of Ras Al Khaimah (RAKBANK), maintaining the bank’s Long-Term Foreign Currency Rating at ‘A’ and Short-Term Foreign Currency Rating at ‘A1’, with a Stable outlook.
The rating agency also affirmed RAKBANK’s Bank Standalone Rating (BSR) and Core Financial Strength Rating (CFSR) at ‘bbb+’, reflecting the bank’s underlying financial strength.
According to Capital Intelligence, an ‘A’ rating indicates high credit quality and a strong capacity for the timely fulfilment of financial obligations. The agency noted that while entities with this rating possess many favourable credit characteristics, they may remain slightly vulnerable to adverse changes in business, economic, and financial conditions.
RAKBANK stated that the reaffirmed credit ratings are not expected to have any financial impact on the bank’s business or financial position. The outlook assigned by Capital Intelligence remains Stable, indicating the agency’s expectation that the bank’s credit profile will remain broadly unchanged over the near term.
