Dubai Financial Market (DFM) reported a net profit before tax of AED 443.2 million for the first half of 2026, supported by significantly higher trading activity and increased participation from institutional and international investors. Total traded value rose 40.4% year-on-year to AED 119.5 billion, while average daily traded value exceeded AED 1 billion for the first time.
The exchange also attracted 42,864 new investors during the first six months of the year, with international investors accounting for more than 70% of new registrations, highlighting continued global interest in Dubai’s capital markets.

DFM said the strong trading activity reflects sustained investor engagement, supported by Dubai’s economic fundamentals, expanding financial ecosystem and growing international participation. The exchange remains focused on increasing liquidity, broadening investment opportunities and strengthening market infrastructure to support the continued development of Dubai’s capital markets.
