Abu Dhabi Commercial Bank (ADCB) has provided an update following the recent technology-related disruption that affected certain banking services over the past week, confirming that its core banking systems have now been fully stable for the past four days.
According to the bank, the disruption was intermittent and primarily affected some customers’ ability to access the mobile banking app, particularly for payments and transfers. ADCB emphasized that customer data, account balances and information security were never at risk during the incident.

• Core banking systems have remained fully stable for the past 4 days

• No inaccuracies in customer balances occurred
• Mobile banking app restored for a large proportion of customers
• Corporate banking services remained fully operational throughout
• Branches operated with extended hours, including weekends
• Internet Banking remained fully available during the disruption
The bank confirmed that the following services are now operating normally:
• Core banking services
• Branch operations
• ATM and CDM network
• Debit card services
• Credit card services
• Payment operations
• Customer servicing functions
ADCB noted that a small segment of its Aspire retail customers is still awaiting restoration of mobile app access. In the meantime, those customers continue to have full access to their accounts through Internet Banking and physical banking channels.
The bank stated that it has worked around the clock alongside global technology experts and suppliers to restore services, and reaffirmed its commitment to resolving the remaining issues while continuing to invest in technology and customer experience.
