• CLI Norte at the Port of Itaqui, a major grains terminal located within Brazil’s strategic “Arc of the North” agricultural corridor
AD Ports Group stated that the acquisition supports its strategy to:
• Expand globally into South America
• Strengthen its agrifood logistics platform
• Develop new trade routes connecting Brazil with Khalifa Port and Abu Dhabi Food Hub
• Expand maritime, logistics and economic zone operations internationally
In 2025, CLI handled approximately 17 million tonnes of agri-bulk cargo and reported:
• Revenue of AED 654 million
• EBITDA of AED 360 million
The company added that Brazil remains one of the world’s largest exporters of sugar, soybeans, coffee and corn, making the acquisition strategically important for long-term global trade growth.
AD Ports Group stated that the transaction is expected to complete during the second half of 2026, subject to regulatory and antitrust approvals.
